Odyssey is a luxurious deluxe train launched by Maharashtra
Government in association with Indian railways. The train transports
its passengers in the sojourn of ancient past and beautiful
places etched with modern glory. The train mainly routes along
the glorious assets of Maharashtra. The trip starts every Wednesday.
Day 1 : Arrive at Mumbai (Monday)
On arrival at Mumbai airport our LuxuryTrainsofIndia.Com representative
will transfer you to a pre-booked hotel. Relax and refresh yourself
at hotel. Overnight stay and dinner is at hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai Sightseeing
After breakfast move to Elephanta Caves at a distance of 9 km
in sea. In the day take a guided visit to Chaupaati Beach, Kamla
Nehru Park, Hanging gardens, and Gateway of India. Overnight
stay and dinner is at hotel.
Day 3 : Boarding the Deccan Odyssey
Train - Ratnagiri
On Wednesday board the luxurious train at 4.40 PM IST. Overnight
dinner and stay is onboard.
 Day
4 : Ratnagiri - Ganapatiphule - Jaigadh
In the morning the train stops at Ratnagiri. Visit Thaibaw palace
- cremation place of last Burma king, Bhatye Point - to watch
scenic beauty, Lokmanya tilak memorial. Take lunch at Ganapatiphule
beach.
In late noon, visit Jaigadh jetty for enjoying backwater cruise.

Day 5 : Sindhudurg - Tarkarli
Backwaters - Sawantwadi
In the morning take a visit to Sindhudurg- the naval base of
Marathas. Next destination is Tarkarli located at the confluence
of river Karli and the sea. After enjoying the cruise in the
backwaters, visit santwadi the art and craft center of the town.

Day 6 : Goa
In the morning visit Goa the most famous beach and holiday destination
of India. Visit Basilica of Bom Jesus, Saint Francis Church,
ruins of Saint Augustine Church. Take lunch on the exotic beach
of Goa. Board the train.
Day 7 : Kolhapur - Pune
 In
the morning take breakfast onboard. Move on to sightseeing of
Kolhapur. Situated on the bank of river Punchaganga, Kolhapur
is also known as Dakshin Kashi of Maharashtra. Visit Bhawani
mandap to witness traditional martial art, New Palace, Mahalaxmi
Temple, Shalini palace famous for its Italian marble. Board
the train to go to Pune. Here, visit Raja Dinkar Kelkar Temple.

Day 8 : Aurangabad - Ellora Caves
The train arrives in the morning. Aurangabad was founded by
Mughal Aurangzeb. Move to Daulatabad to visit spectacular fort.
Ellora caves house world heritage cave temples dedicated to
Jain religion. Bibi-ka-Makbara built like Taj Mahal is a spectacular
sight. Board the train.
Day 9 : Jalgaon - Ajanta Caves
- Nasik
The train arrives at Jalgaon in the morning. Move on to visit
famous Allora caves, that is home to famous painting on life
of Lord Buddha. Board the train to visit the holy city of Nasik,
famous for Kumbha Mela. Board the train to revert to Mumbai.
Day 10 : Mumbai - Delhi
After arrival to Mumbai take a flight to Delhi. From here, our
LuxuryTrainsofIndia.Com representative will transport you to
a pre-booked hotel. Overnight dinner and stay at hotel.
 Day
11 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast, board the train to Jaipur. Move into a pre-booked
hotel to relax. After, move on in the city to view the Amber
Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Sheesh Mahal, and City Palace.
Dinner & overnight will be at hotel. We will move on to
Agra in the early morning.
Day 12 : Jaipur - Agra
On arrival to Agra, move on to a pre-booked hotel to take some
breakfast. Then we will visit to Taj Mahal, one of the Seven
Wonders of the World. Taj Mahal was built by Shahjahan in memory
of his beloved wife. Then we will move to visit nearby sights
like Red Fort, Moti Masjid, and the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah
built by Noorjehan in remembrance of her father.
Day 13 : Agra - Delhi
Move to Delhi via train. Move to the hotel and relax yourself.
Overnight Stay and Dinner is at hotel.
Day 14 : Delhi - Onward
After having a delicious breakfast our representative transfers
you to the IGI airport.
